Antonio Banderas is one of the actors who recently joined the cast of "The Expendables 3" and he definitely has a lot of things to say about his role as Galgo.

In a recent interview, Banderas dished on his role as a trigger-happy sharpshooter "who joins the crew of misfit mercenaries to take down the arms dealer" played by Mel Gibson, according to the Miami Herald.

"I was trying to build this character with the premise that he is hiding something deeply painful and in this compulsive way cannot stop talking. If he stops talking, he will think. If he thinks, he will go down. But in doing so, he becomes unbelievably annoying for everyone involved," Banderas dished.

Prior to his involvement in the film, Banderas, who was first approached by co-star Sylvester Stallone, revealed that he was sold on getting the role even before he read the script in its totality, Denofgeek reported.

"Well it was Sly, he called me one day and he said he was going to send me the material and the script and just to read it and review the character for him. But immediately, even before I read it he said, 'Antonio, if you want to change something, if you wanna just give me your opinion and even write something new for the character, just do it," he said.

Meanwhile, Banderas' co-star Victor Ortiz admitted that Banderas' inclusion into the film's third installment meant adding a different flavor to the movie altogether.

"Personally, I think this guy makes the whole thing. Sometimes when you're watching a movie, the plot kind of stays there. But just when it gets to that point, Antonio reels you back in and you're like, 'Whoa!'"

Banderas, who was required to talk throughout his scenes in the film reminded fans that he didn't do anything twice in the film. This meant that all of his parts in "The Expendables 3" provided audiences with unique acting and performance.
