It's every game developer's dream to create that own game or app that would be a hit and have thousands, if not millions of people download. And this is just what happened to Dong Nguyen when he launched Flappy Bird early on in 2014.
But it was because it was too popular that Nguyen yanked it off the market, saying it was "ruining" his life.
The game developer gave an interview with Rolling Stone magazine giving the details of the craziness that had come to his life ever since his game went viral. He shared that photographers and media were everywhere, and that he felt guilty because people were complaining that his game was so addictive that it led to people messing up their real life, and their relationships.
Fast forward to today, and Nguyen is back with a brand new game that will be released this week. And it was the website TouchArcade that was able to get the inside scoop on the Flappy Bird Dong Nguyen new game Swing Copters.
Reportedly, the brand new game is set to hit the market on August 21, and good news to all Flappy Bird fans, it is going to be downloadable for free. But if you want to get rid of the pesky advertisements, you can pay $ 0.99. Nguyen, who announced his decision to pull the plug of Flappy Bird via Twitter, also made the announcement of his new game's release through this social media site. Flappy Bird Dong Nguyen new game 'Swing Copter's will be available for download on Android and iOS gadgets.
And while Flappy Bird was notoriously easy to learn but difficult to master, so is Swing Copters.
