Hayden Panettiere is pregnant, shows off her baby bump in the ice bucket challenge.
A May report from Us Weekly said Hayden Panettiere is pregnant, with hubby Wladimir Klitschko. This doesn't stop the "Heroes" star from accepting the ice bucket challenge, which, unsurprisingly, gained popularity among celebrities over the week.
Hayden confirms she's well on her pregnancy by showing off her baby bump in an Instagram post. She takes the ice bucket challenge off the bat, renominating Kacey Musgraves, also her hubby Klitschko and her unborn baby, confirming the pregnancy.
Her friend Derek Hough then proceeded to dump ice-cold water on her, unexpectedly. Panettiere screamed, but managed to stifle a "holy sh**" with a mused Hough looking on.
Hayden Panettiere's ice bucket challenge was posted on Hough's Instagram account. Hough comments: "Couldn't figure out how to post it on @haydenpanettier twitter. So I'm posting it for her."
The Instagram post was captioned "Hayden shortly went into labor after this... Jus kiddin."
It's no secret that Hayden Panettiere is pregnant; ever since the initial report, she and hubby Wladimir were spotted on vacations, in Italy and in Miami. Hayden proudly showed off her baby bump in a bikini.
Her ALS ice bucket challenge is the most recent of a string of challenges accepted and declined over the past couple of weeks. Some of the more notable personalities include Bill Gates, Oprah, and even Barack Obama (who declined and opted to pay the $100 penalty.)
The ice bucket challenge is a verified success, with as much as $31.5 million raised in donations since the first challenge was accepted in July 29.
Hayden Panettiere is pregnant by at least four months, and in a May interview with Glamour magazine comments on motherhood:
"Sometimes people speak about [having kids] like, 'Your life ends-you're never going to be able to do anything again!' And I'm like, 'What are you talking about?' Motherhood is the most beautiful, exciting thing, and there's nothing that I feel like I can't accomplish while having children in my life." (source: usmagazine.com)
