Windows 9 Beta Release And Features: "Windows 8 was a failure, but better features are coming with Windows 9 as we look to its release date and beta," writes David Ludlow for expertreviews.com
Looking back at Microsoft Windows, the OS seems to do well at a point when every other entry is released. A classic example is the facilitative Windows XP which is no longer supported, hitting a rock bottom with Windows Vista and then rising to the popularity of Windows 7 and dipping to an almost 'non-use' version of Windows, Windows 8 failing to impress customers.
Windows 9 shows some promise in sight when it unveils in September as Microsoft seeks to fix Windows 8 troubles with Windows 9. And Microsoft may be looking to correct the bad performance of its operating systems since Windows Vista. In other words, preventing a repeat of the 'Windows Vista' quagmire means lightening up the e OS so that can operate faster.
Now that the tablet market appears to be over-saturated since many Smartphone companies have benefitted from tablet sales.
Though users seem to be complaining of Windows 8, the OS does have some benefits that overlooked. Behind Windows 8, Microsoft has added some advantageous like faster booting than Windows 7 and a faster OS boot. Although some users defy this, the desktop mode on Windows 8 is better than the one on Windows 7 along with enhancing file copying, and a task manager. Windows 8 also has excellent support for several displays at a time.
With all of these fancy features, Windows 8, Windows 8.1 update that was released recently only has 12.54 share of the market share. Comparatively, Windows 7 has about 50% or more. And this points to why the Windows 9 needs to be an imminent 'fixer-upper' for its predecessor. Incidentally the Update 1 to Windows 8 was recalled due to 'blue screen of death' screens.
