"James Bond 24" movie has been scheduled for release in 2015, and despite reports of probable delays resulting from a massive screenplay rewrite, the film's producers have decided to stick to the schedule.

The suave British secret agent is back. Daniel Craig dons the spy's famous tuxedo for the fourth time. This time, as reported by Breathe Cast, he would be acting alongside Naomi Harris who appeared in "Pirates of the Carribean: at World's End," Ben Wishaw and Rory Kinnear.

As for the next Bond Girl, Breathe Cast shared that some people speculate that it will be Lea Seydoux. Hallels shared a different rumor, however, speculating that Penelope Cruz may be the one to take on the role.

How will "James Bond 24" be different from "Skyfall"? Hallels reported that John Logan, who is doing part of the scriptwriting, said that being a franchise - and a continuation of an on-going plot - they will pick up where "Skyfall" left off. However, although the movie shares a lot of its story elements with "Skyfall," it will be totally different at the same time.

As Logan put it, the upcoming movie will be unique in its own way. But he did not divulge if the latest franchise will have just as many surprising plot twists as its predecessor, one of which was M's (Dame Judi Dench) demise.

Sam Mendes, the director, provided additional information on this matter. As eported by Breathe Cast, Mendes shared that in the upcoming "James Bond 24" movie, the viewers will see the characters mature.

This development makes this new franchise stand out from the others. Ever since his introduction in 1963, the character of James Bond has never matured.

Could this be one of the reasons why they had to rewrite the script? So far, neither Mendes nor Logan has mentioned anything that will connect, let alone explain, how these developments figure out in the delay. Fans will find out once the movie hits US cinemas in October 23, 2015.
