Supermodel Miranda Kerr recently admitted to hiring a round-the-clock nanny for her son Flynn every time he goes on vacations with his father, actor Orlando Bloom.
However, the model clarified that this wasn't because she didn't trust her estranged husband, according to Mirror UK.
In a recent interview with The Sunday Times, Kerr said, "I have a nanny who comes when I work, but when I get home she leaves and I switch my phone off. The nanny is with him all the time when he is with Orlando. Don't get me wrong, he's a great dad. It's just me being a protective mother and wanting to make sure all his needs are met. I want to keep Flynn's routine. Orlando's fine with it. In fact, he likes it, it's less pressure."
After the ex-couple split in October of last year, they made it a point to maintain good friendship with one another, if only for the sake of their son.
However, just last month, Bloom was involved in an almost-fist fight with Kerr's rumored ex-boyfriend, Justin Bieber, ABC News reported. Kerr has previously denied any involvement with the "Boyfriend" singer.
Videos of the almost brawl circulated online and made headlines for an entire week. However, throughout the incident, Kerr has been very timid with her comments.
This wasn't the case when her current rumored boyfriend James Packer got involved in a fight with her best friend David Gyngell, Variety noted.
"They weren't fighting over me. I won't comment on other people's actions and decisions. James and I are friends, but people want to make a story, the public want to put me with someone. I know the truth, I am single, and the people that are important to me know the truth and that is all," she said.
