Nick Cannon and Mariah Carey's six-year marriage is now reportedly over, according to the NY Daily News.
The 33-year-old "America's Got Talent" host addressed the rumors of the impending divorce today.
"We have been living in separate houses for a few months. [Right now] my main focus is my kids," Cannon told The Insider.
Nick Cannon and Mariah Carey have reportedly already gotten lawyers involved to negotiate property and custody agreements over their three-year-old twins Moroccan and Monroe, according to TMZ.
The divorce is a huge surprise for the public, as Nick Cannon and Mariah Carey seemed to be smitten with each other until quite recently.
Their marriage allegedly suffered quite a bit when Nick Cannon revealed on Big Boy's radio show that he had reportedly slept with Kim Kardashian back in the day.
"That made Mariah insane and humiliated. She tore into Nick for weeks," a source told the entertainment website.
Aside from Cannon's statement regarding his past with Kim Kardashian, Mariah Carey reportedly felt "abandoned" due to her husband's work schedule.
"They have been living apart for a while. This is not all of a sudden. There have been issues between them for a while. They are not getting along," a source close to the "Always Be My Baby" singer told E! News.
The insider added, "She wants to end it and it has been in the works for months, which is why her house in the Bahamas and the house in Bel Air are on the market."
