A source confirms the Nick Cannon and Mariah Carey divorce a done deal, with the latter struggling to bite off a chunk of the singer's assets.

Nick Cannon and Mariah Carey's divorce is almost signed, sealed, delivered according to a report by TMZ. Rumors of trouble in paradise have been brewing for weeks now, due to allegations of cheating from both parties.

It looks like Mariah is getting the short end of the stick, though. If the divorce arrangements push through, Nick is poised to take off a huge (undisclosed) chunk off the singer's $500 million estate, which covers for houses, jets, and luxury cars.

Nick will also fight to earn visitation rights to their children. The divorce could turn out the best for him, making him richer than he already is.

Nick's current net worth is a mere $20 million, menial compared to his wife. Even if he's eyeing a sizable fortune out of the divorce, Mariah is reportedly making sure Nick will have a serious legal battle on his hands before that ever happens.

The Nick Cannon and Mariah Carey divorce doesn't come as a surprise, especially to the press. Nick is reportedly flirting with female talents in his MTV Show, and Mariah has similar flings with younger men.

The couple is reportedly doing a trial separation since their Trebeca loft started renovation, but are yet to confirm anything publicly.

Nick previously revealed his list of celebrity sex encounters on Power 106 radio, which included a who's who of the music and entertainment industry. Christian Milan, Nicole Scherzinger, and Kim Kardashian were a few of the familiar names included in the list.

Mariah was reportedly furious about the reveal, further fanning the rumors of conflict in their marriage, and a supposed separation. The same TMZ source comments on the Nick Cannon and Mariah Carey divorce: "They're using the construction as a cover. They're not living together because they can't stand each other."
