Warcraft movie already has its official release date by 2016. According to many video game lovers, turning their favorite video game into a movie is a good way of paying tribute. This way, their favorite video game characters come to life on the big screen.
This notion could have been what Universal Pictures and Blizzard Entertainment had in mind when they first brainstormed about making a movie adaptation for the globally known video game "Warcraft." For the past several years, video games that have been adapted into a movie have oftentimes turned out to be flops. It is because of this unfortunate consistency that many video game fans have started to become disillusioned at the entire idea.
Analyzing the thought, it does actually seem quite wonderful at first. However, video game fans are doubtful if movie makers today truly know how video games are supposed to look as blockbusters. This could have reached the ears of Legendary CEO Thomas Tull, as he decided to address the issue himself.
Tull is also a producer, and, apparently, he knows how to make sure that what the fans are trying to avoid does not happen with the upcoming "Warcraft" movie. He said, "The world does not need a bad video game movie." According to his statement, their preparation for the "Warcraft" movie is being done appropriately as they do not rush anything in its production.
Still, despite Tull's reassurance, fans are wondering on how a production crew can render the World of Warcraft into the big screen. Today, there are some spoilers for the "Warcraft" movie that have been posted online and they seem to place more focus on whether the anticipated flick will be focusing on its plot around MMORPG or massive multi-player online role playing game, or RTS, real time strategy.
