A More Vicious Blade Hitting Cinemas Once More In ‘Blade 4’ Movie? Wesley Snipes Is More Than Ready To Reprise The Half-Human-Half-Vampire Role!

Action star Wesley Snipes promised a much better version of the vampire killer in "Blade 4" movie that will surely entertain even the most hard-core fans.

The "Expendables 3" star said that he would be happy to reprise the role should the opportunity come knocking again, and if he and the rest of the team (comprising the rest of the people required to create the movie) succeeds in creating it, reported Belfast Telegraph.

At this point, Wesley Snipes appears to be more confident of himself when he said that he could maximize the potentials of the character. In "Blade 4" movie, Wesley Snipes cited his skills as an actor, producer and martial artist as the main factors. According to him, all these would meld together to bring out a better, more improved version of the modern gun-and-samurai-wielding half-human, half-vampire character.

In an interview by MTV, as reported by Cinema Blend, the "Expendables 3" star admitted that they experimented with the execution of some of the scenes in the first installments of the movie. These, according to him, have now become the norm for many comic-book-based movies.

The three-part "Blade" series made its movie rounds from 1998 to 2004. The first installment was such a huge success, generating $131 million in global ticket sales. The second sequel, which was directed by Guillermo Del Torro, raked in $24 million more with $155 million worth of ticket sales, and was better received by critics compared to the first one.

"Blade: Trinity," where Wesley starred alongside Jessica Biel and "Green Lantern" lead actor Ryan Reynolds, came in two years after the second installment. Unlike, its predecessors it did not fare as well in the box office, making only $128 million and was ill-received by critics.

Prior to his return to the big screen in "Expendables 3," Wesley Snipes had spent three years in prison due to tax-linked offences. Now that he is a free man once more, he is more than ready to beef up his acting career by reprising roles in action-thriller flicks as the good guy.

This became reality in "Expendables 3" where he co-starred with other famous action stars, and if possible "Blade 4" movie with Wesley Snipes (himself) playing the titular character.
