There have been talks that the 26 year old midfielder, Angel di Maria wants to leave his club Real Madrid. Now, Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti has confirmed that the Argentine footballer has asked to leave the European champions before the end of the transfer window.

Di Maris has been considered as one of Madrid's top players. He has helped the team claimed their 10th European crown last season. But due to the arrival from of James Rodriguez and Toni Kroos, di Maria has fallen a few slots at the Bernabeu order.

Because of this talsk fo transfer, a lot of other team's have been waiting till Madrid officially lets go of di Maria. Among the team's who are interested with him is Premier League giants Manchester United.

Ancelotti said "I am surprised to read that there is a disagreement between myself and the club. There is no disagreement and we both think the same way. The situation is clear. The player asked to leave in the summer and rejected an offer from the club."

He added "Therefore we have tried to look for other players. It is a situation that the player himself has to resolve. If he doesn't find a solution for his future, then, come the end of the market, we will make up and he will work for us like he did last season. There won't be any problem."

On the other hand, there is one team that has confirmed that they are out of the running in taking di Maria to their team and that is French champions Paris Saint Germain.

According to Germain's coach Laurent Blanc "I don't think so. Like all great players di Maria has a lot of clubs after him. However, PSG can't do what they like in terms of recruitment. The club president (Nasser Al-Khelaifi) told me that it would be difficult to sign him."

Aside from di Maria another Real Madrid player could also be leaving the team and that is Sami Khedira. According to talks, Khedira will be returning to his homeland with Bayern Munich and has rejected a new contract as his current deal will end in 2015.
