A Van Halen tour 2015 might be pushed through, or so says various online news outlets. A 2013 interview with David Lee Roth has gone viral in many websites that focus on the latest music news. The one-one-one exclusive interview that Roth had with Jim Florentine from "That Metal Show" for Ozzy's Boneyard on SiriusXM has gone viral because of something that Roth mentioned.

According to Roth, the four Van Halen members will start working on their latest album. He even implied that Van Halen might have a tour in 18 months, which will most likely be on 2015.

As soon as the interview was posted online, it has been getting quite a lot of attention. It would seem that a lot of people are quick to get excited when they get to hear news about Van Halen, most especially if it involves a Van Halen tour 2015 update. Perhaps, apart from the fact that Van Halen has a huge following, the fact that their latest album in 2012, "A Different Kind of Truth," was a critically acclaimed masterpiece, seemed to have made their fans more excited about it.

Roth informed Florentine, "I'm writing. I write lyrics routinely. And the band plays together routinely - at least three times a week. They're up at Ed's place, routinely. I was up at Edward's house, maybe three days ago - just before I came here to the city - and we're starting to put music together. Not to give away exactly what the package will be. It's gonna be about 18 months, I think."

Estimating from Roth's "18 months" promise, it looks like there will be a Van Halen tour on 2015, which is exactly three years after they have released their "A Different Kind of Truth" album. Still, what he said could just have been a rough estimate.
