Actress Sarah Silverman walked on the red carpet at Monday night's 66th Emmy Awards, where she also confirmed to interview Giuliana Rancic that she's stoned.
Silverman willingly opened her bag to show off its contents as part of the show's "Clutch Cam" and that's when she said she had a liquid pot with her, SMH reported.
"I've got my phone, pot and gum. I don't drink, I'm lightweight but I'll have a puff here and there and at the Governor's Ball, the official Emmy's after party, what have you," she said.
Following her spontaneous reveal, Rancic, who was simply taking the place of Ryan Seacrest as the night's official red carpet host, had a bit of a rift with Silverman, US Weekly reported.
At one point, Rancic placed the microphone very close to Silverman's face which caused the latter to react and say, "Why do you put the microphone in front of me, you didn't ask a question. You're just like, 'Hey, you're dressed like a nominee.'"
Rancic quickly responded to Silverman's statements and clarified, "I don't get paid enough to ask questions ok? I just put a microphone there and expect you to do the work."
Silverman tried to dodge a bullet when she shifted the topic and said instead, "Ah look at my boobs. This is the higher one."
Rancic then replied and said, "No, listen, here, look this way. Your boobs are very perfect."
Before the conversation ended, Rancic was able to ask Silverman who she was wearing that time, FOX News noted.
"I'm wearing Marni, the character from Girls... Marni with an 'I'... obviously you don't know fashion" and then she left the interviewer.
Rancic tried to save the conversation when she shouted, "Ok love you," to Silverman.
Meanwhile, Silverman was nominated for Outstanding Writing in a Variety Special for HBO's "Sarah Silverman: We Are Miracles."
