Good news Marvel fans! New updates for the third Amazing Spider-Man movie have been revealed.

It seems that Emma Stone will be returning to the Amazing Spider-Man film franchise, but as a different character. Several rumors have popped up in the internet that Emma Stone will be playing Mary Jane Watson in the third movie or be resurrected as the symbiote villain Carnage in the "Venom Carnage" spin-off.

According reports ComicBook.com, Sony and the producers of the Venom Carnage Movie have plans on using the Ultimate version of Carnage, but also foreshadowed the outcome that having Gwen Stacy back as the symbiote villain will likely receive negative feedback from movie and comicbook fans.

Movie website Screenrant conducted an interview with Emma Stone before regarding her character's comeback in the Amazing Spider-Man movies.

"I don't know... is it? There could be a-I don't know, there's a whole plotline that could happen that may bring her back"

A blogger from Comicvine cited that if Amazing Spider-Man director Marc Webb decided on putting Gwen Stacy in future installments, he would have the Clone Saga or the Carnage Transformation storyline.

The blogger further adds that if they want the Ultimate version of Carnage in the Venom Spin off movie, they would suggest finding a character with the similar traits as Ultimate Gwen Stacy or have the original Carnage Cletus Cassidy in the movie.

The Emma Stone returns as MJ in the Amazing Spider-Man 3 rumors haven't died down just yet as a new rumor has been going around that Andrew Garfield would prefer his real-life girlfriend to be his onscreen partner in the movie rather than anyone else.

Speaking of Andrew Garfield, Comic Book Resources have asked him if Miles Morales a.k.a. The Ultimate Spider-Man will show up in the Amazing Spider-Man universe. Here's what Garfield had to say:

"I have given that thought. I think one of the amazing things about Spider-Man is that you don't see skin color when he's in the suit. You don't see any religious beliefs. You don't see any denominations. Everyone can project themselves into that suit. It's incredibly powerful in that way. So of course I think it's important that the openness, the casting, in terms of who could be Spider-Man, could be absolutely anyone. A hero is a hero, whether you're a man, woman, gay, lesbian, straight, black, white or red all over - it doesn't matter."

"Miles Morales was a huge moment in this character's comic book life. And I do believe that we can do that. It's something I'm really interested in figuring out; an eloquent way of coexisting, or passing on the torch. I don't have an answer, but I think it's actually a really important move. I think it's a really beautiful and important move."

In the Ulimate Marvel Comics, Miles Morales is a 13-year-old black Hispanic kid who also happened to get bitten by a genetically altered spider that gave Peter Parker his powers. He took on the mantle of Spider-Man in the Ultimate Universe after Peter Parker was killed. He has the same powers as Peter, but has a few tricks of his own like the ability to blend in with his surroundings and temporarily paralyze people with electric "venom strikes."
