IGN specified in its "James Bond 24" movie update report that auditions for the top villain has begun. The producers are currently on the lookout for someone who is fit and buff and stands above 6"2. Their setting their eyes on someone who is akin to iconic 007 villains Oddjob and Jaws who became formidable henchmen in "Goldfinger" and "Moonraker," reported Cinema Blend.
Based on the backgrounds provided by IGN, Oddjob who was portrayed by Harold Sakata was Goldfinger's mute steward. His hand-to-hand combat skills and ability to kill using his steel-rimmed bowler hat made him one of James Bond's most difficult opponents. Jaws (Richard Kiel) was as equally vicious with his 7"2 frame and shark-like metal teeth that could cut steel cable.
At present, the creators are setting their sights on ex-sportsmen or anyone who possesses formidable and uncommon features. Cinema Blend added that they already have a name for the antagonist "Hinx." However, no one has confirmed whether this name is fixed or if the writers will decide to change it at some point prior to the launching date of the movie.
According to IGN, once the producers have found their perfect villain, He and James Bond will face off in several heart-pounding scenes, including a driving sequence - all of which could be detailed in the next "James Bond 24" movie update.
