Manny Pacquiao news reveals two of "Pacman's" immediate plans in sports: first ist to build a boxing academy in China and second is to have NBA star Ron Artest a.k.a Metta World Peace as one of the import players for his professional basketball team in the Philippines.

In a report by ESPN, the eight-division world champion announced that he has begun doing business with an unidentified Chinese company and the country's government to establish an institute that aims to inform its people about his personal experiences as a world champion.

The announcement of the Manny Pacquiao news was made during the pre-fight press tour in Shanghai, which is in preparation for his November 22 clash with the undefeated WBO light welterweight champion Chris Algieri, which is set to take place at the CotaiArena in Macau.

"This will even help in strengthening our relationship, especially since in this project, the Chinese government is involved," Pacquiao said.

Manny Pacquiao news reports "Pacman, who is also a congressman of Saranggani Province in the Southern Philippines, is also looking to mend the relationship between his country and China, amidst the on-going struggle for ownership of the territory along the South China Sea.

Back in his country in the Philippines, Manny Pacquiao has once again added to his long list of sports ventures. This past week, professional basketball team KIA Motors officially drafted "Pacman", where he will also take on the duties as head coach.

Pacquiao declared that his first order of business was to get NBA star Metta World Peace (formerly known as Ron Artest) as his import player.

"We need a good import," Pacquiao said in a report by Philippine news outfit, ABS-CBN. "If we get him, it would be great for us. He's an NBA player, and he's a friend of mine."
