Daniel Craig will be reprising his role in the new James Bond Flick, "Bond 24."
New reports are claiming that filming is underway, and the new movie has had a major script overhaul to include more wit into the mix.
Exciting times for fans indeed.
New reports are now saying that producers are looking to cast a big bad guy for the next movie. For 007 fans, think Oddjob or Jaws.
MI6 reported, ""Casting has begun for the main assassin, with the search specifically focussed on someone extremely physically fit and over 6' 2". Whoever wins the role will have several altercations with Daniel Craig's 007 throughout the film and also a driving sequence."
"Former sports athletes will be under consideration along with anyone 'very unusual'. The character has the working name of 'Hinx' (which may change before shooting starts) and is said to be between 30 and 45 years old."
Speaking of athletes, rumors are now circulating that this role could be given to an unnamed WWE star. If this was true, audiences might see a new Dwayne Johnson or Dave Bautista on the rise. No additional information has been offered on the said rumor as of writing.
Meanwhile, fans still await for the announcement of who will play the Bond villain and the Bond girl in "Bond 24."
No name has been mentioned up until this day which makes James Bond fans all the more excited about the new movie. Kevin Spacey's name has been suggested for the role, but the actor has denied rumors of his involvement in the movie. Daniel Radcliffe, on the other hand, has expressed his intent to play the baddie.
The actor who was made famous by the "Harry Potter" franchise however declared that he is more interested to play a villain rather than following Pierce Brosnan's and Daniel Craig's footsteps.
A source tells The Sun: "Daniel thinks he would be an excellent villain in the 'Bond' films. He loves the franchise but admires the villains as much as Bond."
"He feels he could appear as a modern bad guy, an evil mastermind who wants to take down MI5. And like the old Bond films, he hopes the role may be recurring."
"Bond 24" will begin filming in December, and is slated for November 2015 US release date.
