Fifty Shades Of Grey News: Director Sam Taylor-Johnson Home Raided By The Police? M16 Rifle Found In The Basement Of Her House!

The home of Fifty Shades of Grey director Sam Taylor-Johnson and husband, Godzilla star Aaron Taylor Johnson, was searched by armed policemen on Thursday after a passer-by saw a machine gun by a window.

Based on the reports of a local newspaper, the upmarket Primrose hill residents were awaken by the policemen around the property on Thursday night. But, the couple were not in their home during the raid.

Eventually, the gun was confirmed by the police and decommissioned the M16.

According to the spokesman for the Metropolitan Police, "Police were called at 23:40 hours on Thursday by a member of the public, reporting that they had seen from the street, what they thought was a firearm, sitting on a desk by the window of a property. Local officers and officers from the Met's Firearms Unit attended and were let into the property to examine the firearm. It was confirmed that the firearm was a deactivated M16 rifle."

The M16 was found in the basement studio of the Taylor-Johnsons and has been fully decommissioned by the officers. The M16 rifle was given to the Fifty Shades of Grey Director by the International Charity Peace One Day as a part of the "Peace One Day M16," art project.

The project was organized by Jake Chapman, it showcased the new art works by famous names in modern art.

The film-maker Sam Taylor-Johnson has been selected to direct the film version of the erotic novel 50 Shades of Grey. She previously directed the 2009 film, Nowhere Boy, a film on John Lennon's youth.

The film version of the best selling erotic series of E.L James will be shown on Valentine's Day of 2015. The movie's trailer has been released; it gives some different tantalizing imagery, from billionaire Christian Grey, played by Jamie Dorman and protagonist Anastasia Steele played by Dakota Johnson. The trailer shows the "toy room," of the businessman.
