The Hershey Company revealed a redesigned logo and new corporate branding, featuring the new modern and fresh look, while others utter it's suspiciously look like emoji poop.

Typically, the name Hershey's points to the idea of milky-brown, mouthwatering chocolate, the unveiled newly-redesigned logo, caused less appetizing views in the social media. After Hershey launched the new logo, the people started commenting on the redesign, most of them did not like the poop-looking logo.

Perhaps this is merely the means the cookie crumbles for large firms who urge to raise re-brandings in a livid social age.

The new logo is simpler than the previous logo of the Hershey Company, letting go of the serif font on the wording, three dimensional effects and a stylized Hershey's Kiss image. The logo maintains the true and tried colors of silver, brown and white.

Hershey is adapting a new model of visual identity system that is made of the well-known colors of its most iconic products and brands like Ice Breakers and Hershey's Reese's, to bring consistent look and more colorful visual materials of the company. However, some media designs experts and outlets are saying that the new Hershey's logo looks not so delicious as compared to the previous one.

According to the news released by the Hershey Company during the unveiling of the new logo, "Today, The Hershey Company - known for its iconic Hershey's Milk Chocolate bars and more than 80 other confectionery brands around the world - is unveiling a refreshed corporate brand that builds on the company's powerful legacy and creates a new, modern look and feel that positions the company for the next 100 years. The new logo will be present across websites, different communication platforms, retail stores and offices.
