It was an unsettling flight for the contestants and hosts of X-Factor 2014; a Bermuda Triangle incident occurred while the plane they boarded flew over the infamous territory.

A recent flight with the contestants and hosts of X-Factor2014 over Bermuda Triangle caused quite a scare for everyone on board, as the plane nosedived for a moment over the stretch of water infamous for its unexplained phenomena.

X-Factor host Dermot O'Leary was among the passengers of the plane when it began to dip and plunge towards the sea. The fact that their experience happened while flying over the Bermuda Triangle made things worse.

The host was with guest judge Tulisa during the flight, as well as show presenter Sarah Jane Crawford and a handful of voice talents. They were travelling back from Bermuda, on a seven-hour flight from judge Louis Walsh's home.

It appears that bad weather was the cause of the brief discomfort; the plane came across turbulence and the pilot had to adapt to the conditions, causing the aircraft to momentarily dip. For the contestants and hosts of X-Factor 2014; the Bermuda Triangle incident was unsettling nonetheless.

The Sun, in an interview with a source who was on board the plane while it happened, quoted: "We were all terrified the plane was going to go down. We were heading downwards and there was a lot of screaming and shouting. Nobody stayed calm. Some of us thought we were going to die. It was particularly scary because we knew we were over the Bermuda Triangle.

The pilot told us the extreme conditions hadn't been picked up on the radar system, so they had to adjust the engines. That caused the plane to dip."

For the contestants and hosts of X-Factor 2014, the Bermuda Triangle experience is a brief, yet unforgettable flight, though no one was reportedly harmed during the incident (source: yahoo.com).
