News on Sony PlayStation hack ISIS Terrorist Lizard Squad; the group responsible for the DDoS on Sony's PlayStation Network are reportedly identified and currently being tracked down.

The Sony PlayStation hack ISIS Terrorist Lizard Squad started in August 23, when Sony's PlayStation Network shut down due to technical difficulties. The company acknowledged the mishap, but somewhat denied the rumored participation of the ISIS arm.

It appears the combined efforts on the Internet helped in identifying the Lizard Squad, and it is assumed the authorities are now tracking those responsible for the Distributed Denial-of-Service attacks.

Despite the difficulties authorities faced in pinpointing the people responsible for DDoS-ing the PlayStation Network, help from contributors managed to identify the source of the attack. A recent tweet to the Lizard Squad's Twitter account revealed their cover is blown, and the net is closing in on them.

Concerned members from the Activist Revolution managed to scrape personal information on people within the Lizard Squad, which is now leaked as tweets going out from the same group.

The Sony PlayStation hack ISIS Terrorist Lizard Squad isn't exclusive to the electronics company, as similar DDoS attacks were also reported on other servers. A few days after the August 23 run on the PlayStation Network, the same occurred on the Twitch and League of Legends sites.

There's also an earlier tweet (from the same informant's Twitter account) with screen cap post of an alleged message exchange with members of the Lizard Squad. The chat reportedly exposed their identities.

Sony of Europe exec John Smedley wasn't spared from the attacks; earlier, a flight he boarded was diverted after a Lizard Squad bomb threat. There were also threats from the same during a PAX and AMA session.

The Sony PlayStation hack ISIS Terrorist Lizard Squad is yet to be contained, but the group responsible for the DDoS attacks are reportedly keeping its head down in light of the recent tipoffs (source: incgamers.com).
