Kody Brown, and his four wives, Robyn, Janelle, Meri and Christine of the Sister Wives family can now lawfully live in the state of Utah as polygamist family.
According to the announcement of Jonathan Turley, Kody Brown's Lawyer, "It is with a great pleasure this evening that I can announce the final decision of United States District Court Judge Clarke Waddoups on the last remaining count in the Sister Wives case."
The family was gripped in a polygamy law suit that means they are not allowed by the law to live together in the Utah home. The lawyer stated, "He has now ruled for the Browns in what is now a clear sweep on all counts, that state officials (particularly prosecutor Jeffrey R. Buhman) violated the constitutional rights of the Brown family in years of criminal investigation and public accusations."
The family head, Kody Brown and Sister Wives star, released a statement to the public, through Twitter of ABC News, "While we know that many people do not approve of plural families, it is our family and based on our religious beliefs. Just as we respect the personal and religious choices of other families, we hope that in time all of our neighbors and fellow citizens will come to respect our own choices as part of this wonderful country of different faiths and beliefs," Brown stated.
Although, the stars might not want to celebrate yet, on the other hand, it Attorney General Sean Reyes of Utah, has not yet sure if he will plea the court's ruling.
The office of the attorney general is presently studying the ruling of Brown v Herbert by Judge Waddoups and will make whether or not to appeal for final determination, and different matters in the decisions. It is significant to legally evaluate the effects of the future litigation and the ruling's scope.
