A new Dead Or Alive sequel is in the the works as Koei Tecmo and Ninja Theory are developing Dead Or Alive 6 for the next generation consoles.
Dead or Alive 6 has been allegedly confirmed and the release date DOA 6 could be announced soon if the reports are to be believed.
Tokyo Game Show 2014 is going to be a great event for fans of Japanese games especially for those who are fans of Japanese made fighting games as Dead or Alive 6 for the PS4 and the Xbox One are going to be shown at the event.
VG 24/7 has reported that Koei Tecmo and Ninja Theory confirmed that they are working on making next-gen games at the moment and those games could be Ninja Gaiden 4 and Dead or Alive 6.
VG 24/7 further reports that Yosuke Hayashi of Team Ninja confirmed that they are working on a PS4 game:
"We're developing a PlayStation 4 title internally, so please look forward to future updates."
VG 24/7 then noted that:
"Although Hayashi only mentioned PS4, this may be because he was speaking to Japanese press; most major Tecmo Koei releases intended for western launch are also released on Microsoft platforms, which have almost no foothold in Japan."
"As for what the developer is working on, well, it's may well be a next-gen Ninja Gaiden title, as Hayashi has said in the past that the team will return to the series. However, it might be a new entry in the Dead or Alive series, too; Dead or Alive has historically sold well on new hardware thanks to great interest in the advancement of jiggle physics."
Cyberland has reported that Dead or Alive 6 and Ninja Gaiden 4 are allegedly in the works right now and the official announcement of those games as well as the Dead or Alive 6 release date announcement may happen at Tokyo Game Show 2014.
