"Fashion Police" host Joan Rivers may have been removed from the ICU but this does not mean that her only daughter, Melissa, is free from making tough calls in the near future.
The 46-year-old daughter of the legendary comedian may be tasked to decide over the weekend, whether to pull the plug of her mother who is still in life support as of late, according to the NY Daily News.
Despite the sad news, Melissa is ensuring that her mother is given the best care and attention while confined at one of the rooms at Mount Sinai Hospital.
A doctor from New York weighed in on the situation and said, "If she is off all life support and in a private room and resting comfortably, it's possible the family is waiting for nature to take its course."
Multiple sources previously reported that Rivers is in full hair and makeup and is surrounded by flowers from fans and friends in the industry.
On Wednesday, Rivers' friend, Cindy Adams confirmed that the talk show host was transferred to a much larger suite that was decorated by wedding planner Preston Bailey.
Also on Wednesday, Melissa released an official statement and said, "My mother has been moved out of intensive care and into a private room where she is being kept comfortable. Thank you for your continued support."
Meanwhile, E! revealed to FOX411 that the filming of "Fashion Police" has been suspended in the meantime to accommodate Rivers' current state.
"We will not be producing 'Fashion Police' this week or next as we await Joan and Melissa's return in front and behind the camera. E! will be airing two 'E! From Fashion Week' specials that will deliver the latest news and information from the highly-anticipated event."
Rivers went into cardiac arrest last Thursday, August 28, while undergoing throat procedure, NBC News reported.
She was then rushed to a New York City hospital where she was immediately given "the best treatment and care possible" as previously revealed by her only daughter, Melissa.
