"The Good Wife" season 6 spoilers reveal a power struggle right off the bat, as Canning has yet to make a move on the new Florrick, Agos & Lockhart.

In the official "The Good Wife" season 6 spoilers through a teaser video released by CBS: Eli Gold (Alan Cumming) can be seen asking Juliana Margulies' character directly:

"Alicia would you like to run for state attorney?"

Alicia turned him down and in another scene, she said, "I'm never saying yes."

But Eli Gold is not a man to be dissuaded easily as he still tries to persuade Alicia to enter politics, saying to her, "you could win."

In other "The Good Wife" season 6 spoilers, Diane Lockhart (Christine Baranski) has joined forces-along with her $38 million in clients--with Alicia and Cary (Matt Czuchry) to become a major player in the industry, one to threaten Louis Canning (Michael J. Fox) of Canning and Meyers.

Last season, The Good Wife ended with Eli asking Alicia if she'd be willing to run for State's Attorney. And in a new promo for season six, she answers: "I'm never saying yes."

According to Entertainment Weekly's "The Good Wife" season 6 spoilers, "from the looks of things, Alicia is going to have her hands full even without a campaign to run."

"The promo offers fans their first introduction to Florrick, Agos & Lockhart, which means Diane's transition is now complete. It's your move, Canning," the website said.

The last time Canning tried to offer Alicia Florrick a job as full partner in his Chicago firm, which Alicia declined. What would Canning think about the new Florrick, Agos and Lockhart? He's been known to have the tendency to soil his hands if the situation warrants.

But Florrick, Agos & Lockhart will have a capable attorney who can ward off Canning as Taye Diggs will play "crafty and calculated" Dean Levine-Wilkins who will be hired by the firm at the start of the season.
