Three new teasers for "American Horror Story: Freak Show" has been released and it provided fans with an insight on some of the new characters they need to watch out for this season.

In the first 11-second teaser entitled "Open Wide," a clown whose face was painted in white and red looked straight to the camera with a huge grin on its face. However, the grin shifted into a scary look the minute the clown opened its mouth to reveal the show's title, according to TV Line.

The second teaser entitled "Twisted Smile," surprised fans with a happy go lucky jester who suddenly smiled in front of the camera. The freaky smile on his face was made even freakier by the sound effects featured in the 15-second clip.

In the third video clip entitled "Sword Swallow," a man who was featured swallowing a sword - literally.

All three video revealed the official release date of "American Horror Story: Freak Show" which is set for October 8.

The series "will feature a mix of cast members from past season and newcomers to the series, some of whom will be transformed to become the 'freaks' of the show's title," Screen Rant reported.

Some of the returning cast would include mainstay Jessic Lange as Elsa Mars, the show's manager, Sarah Paulson as Bette and Dot Tattler, a set of conjoined twins, Michael Chiklis as strongman Wendell Del Toredo, Kathy Bates as Effil Darling, the bearded lady, the same publication noted.

Meanwhile, one of this season's newcomers, Matt Bomer, recently dished on his role. "The freakier, the better! Bring it on!" he said during an interview with E! News.

"There's not much out of my comfort zone anymore!" he added.

Talking about what fans may expect, co-creator Ryan Murphy dished to Hollywood Reporter, "At every freak show, you have the tropes but there's some that are unique and weird. It's about something: It's about outcasts and how society at that time... true stories about circus performers who were cast aside."
