"House of Cards" cast Kevin Spacey believes in paying it forward and so accepted an invite to become a speak at the President's Speaker Series for the Arts at University of Virginia. Frank Underwood, meanwhile, has an advice on how to deal with Islamic State Militants.
If only anybody knows what everybody's favorite politician to hate is saying, and Daily Show's Stephen Colbert certainly didn't.
According to Zap2it , on the September 3 episode of the "Colbert Report," "House of Cards" cast Kevin Spacey's Frank Underwood was asked to dish his thoughts on the Islamic State extremists and the fictional president said: "A dog doesn't need to show his teeth as long as his growl's deep enough, his food bowl is full and he knows where all the bones are buried."
Stephen Colbert quipped, "Wow. I have no f***ing idea what that means, but I'll tell you - that was menacingly homespun, sir."
"House of Cards" cast Kevin Spacey's Frank Underwood even offered to be the mentor to Stephen Colbert when the comedian suggested that he go to Washington to become a politician. The "President" said to meet him at the train station, "on the edge of the platform" and to tell everybody that he's going there to "commit suicide."
Fans of the "House of Cards" know what happened the last time Frank Underwood met somebody at the train in season 1.
In another development, "House of Cards" cast Kevin Spacey agreed to be part of the President's Speaker's series to talk to at least 5,000 students, faculty and community members, reported In The Capital.
On his website, according to In The Capital, Kevin Spacey explained why despite his success, he continues to pay back. "If you've been successful in your chosen path, if you've been able to realize your ambition, then you are obligated to 'send the elevator back down.'"
