Warner Bros officially announces "The Nice Guys"' Ryan Gosling, Russell Crowe movie release date: June 17, 2016.

Oscar winner Crowe ("Gladiator", "Man of Steel") and Oscar nominee Gosling ("Half Nelson", "Drive") will begin filming fall of this year. Hello! Canada wrote that Gosling is effective in doing crime genre, two of which were "The Place Beyond The Pines" and "Only God Forgives", which serves as his directorial debut at the Cannes Film Festival.

The president of Domestic Distribution, Warner Bros. Pictures announced that "The Nice Guys"' Ryan Gosling, Russell Crowe movie with release date June 2016 will be directed by Shane Black of Iron Man 3. Joel Silver ("Non-Stop", "The Matrix" series, the "Sherlock Holmes" series) will produce the flick.

Silver said in a press statement released by Warner Bros., "Ever since we did "Kiss Kiss Bang Bang", I've been eager to work with Shane again, and with this film we made it happen. It's a terrific script written in Shane's great cinematic voice. With Russell and Ryan on board, I know we're in for another wild ride."

Slash Film reported that the team up of Black and Silver resulted in the successful relaunching of Robert Downey, Jr.'s career.

"The Nice Guys" is a detective thriller set in 1970s Los Angeles. Private eye Holland March, played by Gosling, and hired leg-breaker Jackson Healy, played by Crowe, will work as a team to solve the case of a missing girl and the seemingly unrelated death of a porn star. In the process of their investigation, they are able to discover a shocking conspiracy that reaches up to the highest circles of power.

Warner Bros. Pictures will distribute "The Nice Guys" in North America.

Deadline wrote that 'The Nice Guys'' Ryan Gosling, Russell Crowe movie shares the same release date with two movie sequels: "Finding Dory" of Disney/Pixar and "How To Train Your Dragon 3" of DreamWorks.
