The Aug. 18 announcement of Taylor Swift's new album for 2014 made fans all over the world happy.
According to Crossmap, country singer turned pop star Swift reportedly worked on her "1989" album for two years.
In Yahoo's Livestream, Swift revealed her reasons for wanting to make an album for two years in an article in Crossmap, saying:
"I like to work on albums for two years because I feel like two years gives you enough time to grow and change,"
"I woke up every single day that I was recording this record, not wanting but needing to make a new style of music than I've ever made before."
Swift's upcoming album was entitled, "1989" for good reasons. The entire album's theme was angled on the late 1980's trends.
The singer allegedly did a thorough research about the 1980's to help her craft great music for her fans in the latest Taylor Swift new album for 2014, as reported in Crossmap.
Swift gave a detailed explanation about the message behind her new single "Shake It Off":
"What I wanted to write about was the idea that people can say whatever they want about us at any time and we cannot control that, the only thing we can control is our reaction to it," said Swift. "I figure we have two options: You can either let it get to you, le it change you, let it make you bitter or not trust people or you can descend into insanity if you want. Option two: you can just shake it off."
