Facebook Messenger App: Forcing Users To Download, Install And Use? Top 4 Ways To Outsmart The App!

In August, people have been complaining about the new Facebook Messenger, because they are forced to download, install and use it. The Guardian happily announced that they found an alternative to prevent Zuckerberg to pressure users to download the app. Users should remember that this option only works for those who haven't downloaded the Messenger on the mobile phones.

Facebook released a statement and it goes, "Today, we're starting to roll out Privacy Checkup, which helps you review and control who you're sharing with," Facebook said on its newsroom. "We know you come to Facebook to connect with friends, not with us. But we also know how important it is to be in control of what you share and who you share with."

It adds: "You'll see the option to take Privacy Checkup when you visit Facebook in the coming days. Click "Let's Do It!" to do the Checkup; it should only take a minute or two. Some have claimed that the app is always using your phone's camera and microphone to see and hear what you're doing. These reports aren't true, and many have been corrected. Still, we want to address some concerns you might have."

Well, the workaround permits users to receive messages without installing the Messenger app. below is the step by step guide:

1. Users use their Facebook apps when accessing their private messages, they would possibly see notification that they should download and install the Messenger app so that they could read them.

2. Tap the "install" button, the app will redirect the users automatically to the app store, click the "free" button, or if they have erased the app, or the cloud, to start accessing the Messenger.

3. Cancel the progress button, before it finishes download.

4. Go back to the main Facebook app, users should view their private messages.

It is possible that this trick or workaround would not be here for long, it is advised to use it while you can.
