JK Rowling's own adaptation from her phenomenal magical hit series could reportedly have a familiar face as director!

According to TheWrap, Warner Brothers Studio is currently in talks with 'Harry Potter' director David Yates to helm 'Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them.'

The 50-year-old director brought four Harry Potter movies to the screen, including the saga's epic finale, both 'Deathly Hallows' films.

JK Rowling will be writing the screenplay and will take place in the 1920s some 70 years before Harry's time in Hogwarts.

'Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them' will revolve around Newt Scamander, a Magizoolist who wrote the magical text book of the same name that the Hogwarts students used in the saga.

Previous news reports confirm that the trilogy will have a different set of cast and characters from the 'Harry Potter' franchise. Albus Dumbledore (Michael Gambon), however, will be appearing in the film.

Warner Bros projects the first of the trilogy to be released on November 18, 2016. In the studio's previously released schedule, November 16, 2018 as well as November 20, 2020 have been blocked and they are speculated to be set for the 'Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them' movie sequels.

However, Yates has already signed on as the director for Warner Bros' 'Tarzan' movie starring Alexander Skarsgard and Margot Robbie. The studio aims to release the 3D film on July 2016.

With 'Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them' set for a November 2016 release date, will he be able to do both movies without some kind of compromise?

If his schedule won't allow it, then would he be in charge of the two other sequels of the Potter spinoff instead?

After doing an amazing job with the 'Harry Potter' movies that he helmed, do you think David Yates would do the same for 'Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them' as well?
