You Tube social media marketing strategy must incorporate a new social site angled product.
You Tube social media marketing edge gained advantage, as reported by survey results, cited in an article in Ecommerce Times.
According to the article, You Tube social media marketing stats stand at 18% for new product launch and 14% of producing sales conversions.
The article further stated that Facebook took the second spot in advertising new products on the market and achieving a successful sales deal, at 11% and 10%, respectively.
A report from the AOL Platforms confirmed the success of social media marketing in generating business growth for several organizations, stating:
"Marketers that allocate ad spend to social channels see a nearly 25 percent lift in the number of sales generated by advertising, compared to sales generated by organic, non-paid marketing touchpoints."
Wheeler Winston Dixon, a University of Nebraska professor affirmed in an interview with Ecommerce Times the reasons You Tube's social media marketing strategy works out successfully:
"YouTube encourages the viewer, more than other sites, to constantly keep clicking from one image source to the next, and with many of the ads starting automatically at the top of the video -- though some have a five second "opt out" feature -- the temptation to click on the video to see what it might offer is almost overwhelming,"
"Viewers essentially see ads on YouTube as another video, rather than being a commercial -- just another video to click on and view," he said. "In a world which exists entirely through clicks, the viewer just keeps on hitting the next button, and then the next, until the entire site becomes a seamless blend of content and commercial advertising."
