It is normal for people to cheat on their husbands or wives (just like the last controversy of Arnold Schwarzenegger, having a child with their maid) and it is normal to misbehave in public, but it is not normal if celebrities do them. People are so interested when their favorite actors or actress misbehave. One reliable theory is that people are obsessed when celebrities are engage in scandals, when people shows exceptional talent in one field of life, it is believed that this is the extension of their life. This partiality to grasp celebrities to a higher ethical standard makes their mistakes even more shocking.
But in Hollywood, bad publicity is still publicity, there is no such thing as bad media, mistakes are not really negative, Well, in fact, scandals can actually help celebrities boost their career and popularity, controversies can bring in fans and sell tickets and it effectively becomes a rave. When celebrities go out of control, it is the job of the publicist to intervene for damage control.
