Rosamund Pike recently sat down with "Gone Girl" author Gillian Flynn for an interview what will be featured on Glamour Magazine's October issue.
In her interview, Pike talked about her sex scenes with "How I Met Your Mother" actor Neil Patrick Harris and labeled them as inappropriate.
"Neil Patrick Harris, who plays Amy's obsessed ex Desi, was incredible at that. We were in hysterics in the editing room. It was funny doing rehearsals for our sex scenes. Neil and I were left alone on that set for like two hours to make sure we could do it. But when it's just two of you, basically kind of f*cking on a bed, it feels so inappropriate," she said.
Pike, who plays the role of Amy Dune, revealed that there were some moments wherein she felt very uneasy portraying the said role.
"There were definitely moments when I felt very uneasy with how much power Amy had. And the interesting thing is, my reaction was to laugh, to get sort of uncontrollable giggles. That was the most curious part of playing her. At the point where she's at her most powerful, it unnerved something to me," she dished.
Meanwhile, talking about his scenes with Affleck, Pike shared, "Ben and I would have these scenes that were very giggly and sort of romantic. And then we'd go to this very dark place... I tried to get us out of that."
Pike, who is currently pregnant revealed that it was her friends who made it possible for her to balance her personal and professional life, according to FOX News.
"Thank goodness for my friends: the girlfriends I can talk nonsense with... The people who really know you are invaluable when your professional life means so many people are trying to know you. After all, being known is so very different from being well-known!"
