Dana White Calls Ben Askren an ‘Absolute Moron'

UFC President Dana White has been having a word war with One FC welterweight champion Ben Askren.

White recently appeared on UFC Tonight where he was asked for his thoughts with regards to Askren choice of words to the UFC President. And as anyone would have known, White bashed the OneFC fighter for talking badly about him.

He said "I thought Tito [Ortiz] was the dumbest human being I ever met. This guy is an absolute moron."

With regards to Askren comments about White, the fighter recently made an appearance on Inside MMA where he said he wants to fight at the UFC and prove he is the best fighter in the world but he is not sure whether he wants to deal with White and stoop to his level just to prove himself. To that, he even has some choice word for the president saying "He's a chameleon. He's a band-wagoner."

Not the one to back out, White refute saying "He's copying everything Tito does. Tito ought to sue him for taking that one."

Askren has just made a transitioned from Bellator, where he long held the company's welterweight title, to One FC, where he won that organization's 170-pound title last month.

Since leaving Bellator, he has been the most sought after fighter in OnceFC. To this, White has to say "Ben Askren said a lot of stupid s--- when he left (Bellator), but I don't care about stuff like that. I could care less about stuff like that. We'll see how the kid fights. Contrary to belief, well, I do hold grudges forever if you're a real idiot, I'll hold a grudge until the day you drop dead, but I don't hold a grudge against fighters."

Askren claims that he is more than happy with One FC and what the promotion has doen to his career. But White said "And the reality is [Askren] claims that this is where he wants to fight, but the kid won't shut his mouth. And if he's that happy over in Asia and that organization is doing so well, then what the hell is he talking about me for? If your life's so great and you love where you're fighting, and that Asian organization is just growing leaps and bounds by the day, then it sounds like everything's great [and] going your way ... do your thing."
