Knowing that the original cast will return for "Mission Impossible 5" brought so much happiness to many fans, but to see a photo of them together was simply awesome! Just recently, Christopher McQuarrie posted a photo of Tom Cruise, Jeremy Renner, Simon Pegg, and Ving Rhames on Twitter. He wrote, "The team is back. @Renner4Real @TomCruise @simonpegg #VingRhames #MI5Diary"
The film director's post got thousands of Retweets and Favorites. Twitter user Theo Priestley commented, "Wow, epic, MI4 really worked, and glad Ving is on board too." Another Twitter user named Andrew Eric Plotkin replied to the McQuarrie, "stoked! Also, just found out you worked on Edge of Tomorrow. That and Snowpiercer were my films of the summer."
Jeremy Renner shared the good news to his followers by retweeting the "Mission Impossible 5" cast group photo. He wrote on Twitter, "Big day on MI5. The BOYS ARE BACK!!! Good day gents. #missionimpossible #mi5"
If you noticed, Christopher McQuarrie used the hashtag MI5Diary so he could be documenting and sharing the latest happening on "Mission: Impossible 5" via Twitter. A few days ago, the director confirmed a new addition to the cast. He wrote "Welcome, Sean Harris" which means that the news about negotiations for getting the star of "Prometheus" is true. Good thing both parties agreed because the British actor is perfect for the villain role.
Sean Harris is most famous for his role as a red mohawked geologist in Ridley Scott's science fiction film and for portraying Ian Curtis of Joy Division in "24 Hour Party People". He sure is a great addition to the team and we know that he'll do a great job of portraying a bad guy.
Apart from the dynamic four, other confirmed "Mission Impossible 5" cast members include Rebecca Ferguson and Alec Baldwin. There are rumors that Paula Patton may be back, but there's no confirmation from the producers and director yet. I'm sure Christopher McQuarrie will share the good news to us in case Robin Thick's ex-wife will return for MI5.
