Gamers have been asking if "The Elder Scrolls Online" download free to play version will ever see the light of day.
Some avid fans are even speculating that this will happen soon given that the makers of the game have come up with a loyalty program to incentivize paying subs of the game.
The multiplayer online RPG will most likely have a rewards program by September. The program targets paying subscribers of at least three months.
"We think it's important to give some special recognition to those of you who have already been there every step of the way," says a statement on "The Elder Scrolls Online" website.
A High Hrothgar Wraith vanity pet was announced to be the first reward for loyal subscribers. The pet will reportedly "let you show your dedication to saving Tamriel wherever you adventure in-game."
More prizes and rewards are in store as the program is said to improve. Loyal subscribers can expect more rewards, as well as a secret "bonus" for subscribers of six months.
