While Joseph Morgan, who plays Klaus, has been updating fans with photos and spoilers for 'The Originals' season 2, his onscreen father, Sebastian Roche, also shared his own tid bit of information about his character as the Mikaelsons' original dad.
"When you have Originals in the title and you're Papa Original, I knew that I was going to pop my head in eventually," Roche said, E! News reports.
With Davina resurrecting Klaus' oldest and fiercest enemy, how will his confrontation with his children play out?
"It's very exciting especially because the first five episodes are pretty intense," the Mikaelson patriarch shared. "It's going to be quite epic."
Morgan revealed late night shoots for a fight scene through Twitter last month. According to rumors, he was filming his meeting with his estranged father then.
"Long night kicking arse #The Originals," the newly married actor teased.
Could he possibly find out about his father sooner than expected? How will that play out with his and Haley's goal to purge the Quarter of anything that can harm their daughter Hope?
"It's going to be an epic season, there's no question about it. We're in for quite a treat," Roche continued. "It's going to be antagonistic, crazy, gothic, and we're in store for some amazing confrontations between Mikael and his sons."
Aside from Mikael, the original siblings will also be facing other dangers in 'The Originals' season 2.
The werewolves still have the moonlight ring that weakens Klaus and new witches will be invading the original vampires' home in New Orleans-and that includes their own mother Esther!
According to the CW's official synopsis, Esther will be "fueled by a consuming and twisted love for her children as she devises a disturbing plan to reunite her fractured family - a plan that involves untold torment not only for the Original siblings, but for any and all of their loved ones."
'The Originals' season 2 will premiere on the CW on October 6 at 8PM.
