The latest "Avengers 2" spoilers will reveal the fate of your favorite superheroes. There have been rumors that Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, Hulk, Hawkeye, and Black Widow will be replaced by the Young Avengers. Marvel fans may already have an idea what their connection is with the original team. But for those who don't know who the Young Avengers are, then let me explain.
Let's start with the main character named Nathaniel Richards, who is also known as Kang The Conqueror or Iron Lad. Movie Pilot gave a brief description of the new character: "His younger self travels back in time by stealing the Conqueror's tech and makes armor similar to Iron Man's, afraid of becoming the evil Kang the Conqueror. He seeks the Avengers, but they are disassembled so he formed the Young Avengers."
Based on that description, Iron Lad could be the new Iron Man because he is the leader of the group and he has excellent technological skills. Are you ready for more "Avengers 2" spoilers? Based on Marvel Universe Wiki, "Nathaniel (Iron Lad) linked his armor to the Vision's body and downloaded all of his programming, including the Avengers protocols, a series of files on the next-wave of young Avengers who were all super-powered youths with either some significance to the Avengers themselves or to Avengers history."
Iron Lad recruited Elijah Bradley (the Patriot), William Kaplan (the Asgardian), and Theodore Atlman (Hulkling). After finding out about the Young Avengers, Iron Man and Captain America tried to stop them from their showdown with Kang before they got hurt. I'm sure that got all Marvel fans excited, but the question is if there's a possibility of seeing the Young Avengers on the big screen.
During an interview with Super Hero Hype, Marvel president Kevin Feige talked about how he chooses the characters to be introduced. He said, "Ultimately comes down to what we think is cinematic. With "Guardians" it comes down to wanting to see the other side of the cosmic stories."
Feige also talked about Avengers 3 and said that they have some notions for the third sequel. He assured fans by saying, "Everyone [original cast] is locked up through Avengers 3." However, could we be seeing the Young Avengers or more cosmic characters in upcoming Marvel films? Feige said, "If Guardians works, that will be the franchise to meet other cosmic folk and if we meet them in that and they work then we'll get another."
Since "Guardians of the Galaxy" made it big in the box office, then there could be a big chance that we may see one of the Young Avengers in "Avengers: Age of Ultron" or "Avengers 3". What do you think of the latest "Avengers 2" spoilers? Do you think we will see a new group of superheroes on the big screen someday?
