Floyd Mayweather news reveals that "Money" says Marcos "El Chino" Maidana should train in mixed martial arts because of the latter's "dirty tactics." The pound-for-pound king of boxing also dodged the long-standing issue regarding finally facing Manny Pacquiao, but has left the door open for it.
"Money" Mayweather was able to coast to a unanimous decision victory on Saturday night in his rematch against Marcos Maidana. The undefeated boxer was more able to execute his gameplan and keep the fight off the ropes, which proved to give him a difficult time during their first fight in May.
The said strategy left Marcos Maidana unable to implement his strategy and throw his overhand right, which was his go-to punch. Mayweather now moves up to a record of 47-0, and is down to his last two fights in his lucrative six-fight deal with cable network Showtime.
Floyd Mayweather news also reveals that while the fight's result was not as controversial as the first meeting, it was still marred by some dispute after "Money" claimed to have been bitten by Maidana.
In a report by Bad Left Hook, the 37-year old boxer further claimed and condemned his opponent's "dirty tactics."
"Of course I said he's a dirty fighter," Mayweather said of Maidana. "I'll say it again. He tackled me. He bit me. I guess that's the type of fighter that he is."
Floyd Mayweather news reveals "Money's" allegations that Marcos Maidana did bite him during one of the latter rounds of the fight, adding that "El Chino" should do MMA instead.
"I think he needs to move over to MMA," Mayweather added. "It is extremely dirty."
As he coasts through another victory, it seemed automatic for a Manny Pacquiao question to be thrown at Floyd Mayweather. While he did dodge the issue like he always does, he did leave the door of possibility open this time around.
"If the Pacquiao fight happens, it happens." Mayweather answered. "You can ask the same questions, you'll get the same answers. I call my own shots."
