Kanye West news reported the rapper has left Australia with his wife Kim Kardashian. The Australian leg of the rapper's Yeezus tour was filled with controversy - from being hospitalized for an alleged seizure just hours before his Melbourne show, to being slammed for an embarrasing wheelchair fiasco during his Sydney concert.
According to Daily Mail, the "Good Life" rapper and "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" reality star left for Los Angeles last Tuesday via Brisbane's International Airport. The couple bought with them their 1-year-old daughter, North 'Nori' West.
Kanye West was in the news last week after he was reportedly hospitalized in Melbourne's Epworth Hospital in Richmond. According to a report from Woman's Day, the rapper entered through the medical facility's back entrance with high security around him at around 2PM on Wednesday.
The 37-year-old artist was reportedly given an emergency MRI after suffering a migraine just hours before the Melbourne leg of his Yeezus tour.
Eyewitness named Loraine Terry claimed hospital personnel requested for an urgent MRI upon seeing that Kanye West was having, or about to have, a seizure.
"He had one side of his face covered with something white. We both knew it was him because we had seen his photo in the paper everyday and we were shocked because it looked so serious," she narrated.
"Everyone was massively panicked," Loraine Terry adds. "And they were very nervous about making sure the area was completely clear.
After the Melbourne leg, Kanye West made news once again, this time at his Sydney show. At one point during his concert, the rapper requested for the entire audience to get on their feet. Upon seeing two audience members were not standing, he called them out and asked them to "get up".
Little did Kanye West know that those two audience members were handicapped, with one on a wheelchair.
Media immediately jumped on the embarrassing incident, and the Kanye West "wheelchair incident" news spread like wildfire.
In defense of her husband, Kim Kardashian explained the misunderstanding via her Instagram page.
The 33-year-old wife of the hip-hop superstar posted a video clip from her husband's concert with the caption: "What an amazing Australian tour! Its frustrating that something so awesome could be clouded by lies in the media. Kanye never asked anyone in a wheel chair to stand up & the audience videos show that."
Kim Kardashian added: "He asked for everyone to stand up & dance UNLESS they were in a wheel chair. #JustWantedEveryoneToHaveAFunNight #TheMediaTwistsThings."
