Robin Thicke's wife may have left the singer because of his own doing!

The "Blurred Lines" singer comes to terms in straightening his life after battling drug and alcohol problems. However, his problems are allegedly the root cause of driving his wife away, Paula Patton, as reported in People.

Robin Thicke's wife decided to give up on the actor as his problems got out of hand. The singer candidly admitted that he did not appear sober in all of the interviews he was in to promote his popular song with Pharrell Williams,

Thicke said, as reported in People:

"Every day I woke up, I would take a Vicodin to start the day and then I would fill up a water bottle with vodka and drink it before and during my interviews."

Thicke recently ended things for good with wife, Paula Patton.

People further reported that infidelity was also one of the major reasons for the Robin Thicke wife split.

The singer allegedly was involved in flings with an unidentified woman and Miley Cyrus, as reported in an article in People magazine.

Thicke owned up to his mistakes, saying, as reported in People:

"I was high and drunk every time I did an interview last year,"

"So there are some quotes I don't remember saying, but I do generally remember trying to sell the public on the fact that 'Blurred Lines' was my idea in some way."
