Kelly Rowland pregnant news revealed tips from the "Destiny's Child" member on how to maintain a "very peaceful, happy pregnancy".
"You really have to take it one day at a time because everything can be so overwhelming," Kelly Rowland said, reported by People.
A first-time-mom, Kelly Rowland narrated how being pregnant makes "one thought trickle into another", saying "you want to make sure that you're not overwhelming yourself."
Kelly Rowland explained: "I don't want no cortisol levels going up. I just want to keep it very serene and calm for myself - and definitely for the baby - because that's the kind of environment I'd want to bring him up in."
Kelly Rowland hopes her peace and happiness while pregnant will "carry on into (her) son's childhood."
The R&B singer has also been in the studio working on new music, said People. "It's been really exciting because I feel like I'm getting some inspiration from the baby, from life, from just being happy," she gushed.
"I'm so happy and I just really want that to come across in the music. I feel like as people we go through so much every day that it's okay to be happy on records and it's okay to talk about your journey to happiness," Kelly Rowland shared.
Kelly Rowland also addressed post-pregnancy questions, such as how fast she thinks she would be able to bounce back after giving birth.
She admitted: "That's a long time to be still, but of course I'm going to know when I need to just chill."
"I'm going to listen to my baby. I'm going to listen to myself, listen to my husband [and] just be smart," Kelly Rowland explained.
While Kelly has been proudly posting Instagram photos and accommodating paparazzi shots, the singer and her husband have yet to directly confirm the baby's gender.
However, a report from E! Online said the Beyonce's friend was seen shopping at Juvenile Shop in Sherman Oaks, California, and her registry is reportedly entirely built for a baby boy.
