Wiki U Sales for shopping season are making its way into the gaming market. With Microsoft, Sony and Nintendo going to head to head with their bundled games, video gamers everywhere have an opportunity to stack up on some of their favorite titles this Christmas.
Nintendo has announced two new Wii U bundles for the fall with the first batch of the Wii U games shipping to stores as early as the middle of September and these new video game products will be available across the U.S. just ahead of Black Friday and Thanksgiving, when shoppers look for deals on their electronic items.
For a bundled price of $299.99 or a $.01 less than $300, the Super Mario 3D World bundle will be the first to take its place on store shelves. It comes piggy-backed with Wii U Deluxe and versions of the Super Mario 3D World and Nintendo Land.
Here’s a look at the new Wii U Bundles for the holidays.
According to TechnoBuffalo, the second bundled Wii U game-pack is Super Mario 3D World: “Coming to Walmart exclusively is the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Set. Also set for $299.99, this bundle swaps out Super Mario 3D World for a copy of Mario Kart 8 (alongside Nintendo Land) and is a limited time offer.”
After the Wii U bundled release takes off, Nintendo will release its 2DS console in three configurations for the budget `conscious gamer. It will come in a mix of shades including Crimson, Green and Blue and is accompanied with ‘Mario Kart 7.’
iDigital Times compares the two bundles, Mario Kart 8 and Super Mario 3D World and conclude both are great buys for the price, which is usually higher than $299 for the bundled items: “If you’re deciding between the two new Wii U bundles, honestly, it’s a total toss-up. Both Super Mario 3D World and Mario Kart 8 are very much worth buying. Nintendoland is very much worth getting for free. And the price is the same. Honestly, you can’t go wrong with either one.”
