Good news Resident Evil and gaming fans as the release date for Resident Evil Revelations 2 has been revealed.
According to reports from Polygon, Resident Evil Revelations 2 is expected to be released in the early 2015 for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The website further revealed that Resident Evil Revelations 2 will also be available in the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and for the PC.

In the trailer, we see Claire attending a casual party event unbeknownst to her that someone is watching her. Suddenly a squad of soldiers raided the building and capture Claire, along with Moira Burton, Barry Burton's daughter. Claire wakes up in a creepy jail cell as she notices her left wrist has a glowing locked bracelet. She begins to explore the dark and creepy hallways, she meets Moira and the two encountered new monsters as someone using a cctv camera is watching there every move.
If the trailer wasn't enough to scare you, the official Facebook page of Resident Evil has posted several photos of Resident Evil Revelations 2 and revealed the possible new villain in the game called the Afflicted.
The Facebook page also revealed a several details of the game.
"Resident Evil Revelations 2 will initially be released as a weekly series of episodic downloads. Each of the four episodes features hours of terrifying gameplay ending with dramatic cliff-hangers that leave players fully engrossed and anticipating the next twist in the gripping horror story. A digital download option of the Complete Season will also be available to ensure fans can get each episode as it rolls out, and a retail disc version will arrive following the final episode. Both the disc version and Complete Season will include additional game content, which will be detailed in the coming weeks and months. With the variety of options available, Resident Evil fans will have more choices available to them than ever before.
Resident Evil Revelations 2 will be available in 4 downloadable episodes priced at €5.99/$5.99 per episode. A digital download of the Complete Season will be made available for €24.99/$24.99 and a retail boxed version will follow (pricing dependent to the specific retailer)."
Lastly, Capcom has showcased the gamplay demo of Resident Evil Revelations 2 during their panel in the Tokyo Game Show 2014 event. The videos were uploaded and posted in YouTube by RabidRetrospectGames.
