WWE John Cena is now back in the ring, and it looks like he is back with a vengeance. He has recently defeated Brock Lesnar at the WWE Night of Champions, merely weeks after being beaten at SummerSlam.

It would seem that the recent WWE Night of Champions was a good night for WWE John Cena. The 37-year-old wrestler won the match against the 37-year-old Lesnar via disqualification for the WWE World Heavyweight Title Match, which was held at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee.

The match between WWE John Cena and Lesnar is regarded as the main event of one of WWE's biggest nights. The fight started off with a very intense note. However, WWE John Cena won after Lesnar was disqualified because of an interference from Seth Rollins, as reported by Bleacher Report. Still, this does not automatically entail that WWE John Cena did not deserve to win the match.

As reported by SB Nation, both WWE John Cena and Lesnar put valiant efforts into the match, hitting multiple AA's. Given the fact that the fight was scheduled only weeks after WWE John Cena's devastating defeat at SummerSlam, many assumed that this was his way of redeeming himself, proving to the world that he still has what it takes to be a champion in the wrestling world. Lesnar, on the other hand, obviously, wanted to add another win to his list.

Lesnar decimated WWE John Cena just last month. Still, the Cenation leader was not a bit perturbed and demanded for a rematch, which, eventually, was rewarded. With this recent victory against Lesnar, WWE John Cena got to tie Ric Flair's record mark as a 16-time world titleholder.

Unfortunately for WWE John Cena, however, Lesnar was able to retain the title of WWE World Heavyweight Champion. It looks like another fight between these two amazingly skilled WWE wrestlers is in the near future.
