After the nude photos of celebrities were hacked in private iCloud and succeeding release of the reader and intimate photos op-eds have charged the load of fault on the victims A-list. According to a comment of one Washington Post reader, in a very conventional tone:
"You know, there is a great way to stop this.....QUIT TAKING NUDE PICS AND SAVING THEM ONLINE! Knowing that there are people out there who want naked pics of celebrities, the celebs fall into the trap because they are stupid. No sympathy here."

The idea that unsolicited violence is rationalized by the length of the women's hemline, blood-alcohol content, are these same people who pledge to manifested consent. The practical advice is simply sugar coated women's discrimination by slut-shaming, rape culture, victim blaming, culture that limits female sexuality and efforts to moderate female's behavior and the leak of the photos from their iCloud account is not an exemption.
As adults, they would not need to seek consent, they have the right to show their sexuality with their partner, whether they are in one room or through mobile phones, both should be protected and assumed private accordingly. If the consenting adults undress in the bedroom, on the fourth floor of their apartment, are they at fault if anyone climbs the tree using binoculars to get a better sight? Is their desire for privacy implied? These hackers did not climb the tree, but broke to the apartment and put a secret camera. They are the same with peeping Tom, which is considered as a crime. iCloud accounts of celebrities are invaded, then shared to the public in the web. No one owns anyone else's sexuality, a person's body is not a property of anyone else, so they don't have the right to violate them virtually or in the flesh. People should reflect the rights of women, whether porn star, movie star, spouse, CEO or even a one night stand in the bedroom or iCloud account.
We do not own anyone else's sexuality. An individual's body is not ours to violate virtually or in the flesh. We must respect each other's right to consent, whether a movie star, porn star, rock star, CEO, spouse, one night-stand - in the cloud or in the bedroom.
