Chris Brown news reported that the "Loyal" singer has revealed more details of his time in jail. In a report from Vibe, the R&B hitmaker told TV personality Mario Lopez about how being imprisoned was "a humbling experience", and how he got embarrassed by his post-jail weight gain.

"[It was] a humbling experience. It was definitely one of the things I'll never forget," Chris Brown said about being locked up.

"I think for me, it's now about what's the purpose and what's the goal that Chris Brown as a person and Chris Brown as an artist is trying to portray. And with me, it's always been positivity, but now it's more of not just speaking it into existence but actually doing it," he explained, reported by Vibe.

Chris Brown news revealed he recently pleaded guilty to misdemeanor assault charges in Washington. According to a report from Daily Mail, the R&B star allegedly punched a man who tried to join a picture of the singer with two women outside the W hotel.

Chris Brown was arrested and charged with misdemeanor assault, said Daily Mail.

The Vibe report also talked about how the singer gained 35 pounds after being in jail.

"My normal weight is like 180. I was 215 when I got out of jail," Chris Brown revealed of the news.

He narrated: "After that I was so conscious, I couldn't even fit my jeans, none of my clothes. I was scared to go out, I was like 'Man, people gonna see me, I look fat'."

Vibe reported how the singer and occasional actor dropped the extra pounds. "I went and played a lot of basketball, a lot of cardio."

"Then I did the 'New Flame' video, we rehearsed for that, the BET Awards, couple other shows. I was just always dancing, always dancing, trying to get my body back in shape," Chris Brown added.
