Jill Duggar And Derick Dillard Revisits Restaurant Where They Celebrated Their Engagement News, ’19 And Counting Star’ Says They Hadn’t Been There Since The Day They Got Engaged

Jill Duggar and Derick Dillard reportedly return to the restaurant where they celebrated the news of their engagement less than six months ago. According to E! News, the 19 Kids and Counting star posted in Instagram a photo of herself and Derick, 25, having dinner at Table Mesa, a Latin restaurant in Bentonville, Ark.

She had it captioned: "Hadn't been there since the day we got engaged," she wrote. "Yummy food! #tablemesa #dinnerdate #derickdillard"

Since the day of the proposal, there are lots of things that happened. According to E! News. three months after the engagement, they tied the knot and last August, they revealed that they are expecting their first baby.

"Understanding that the majority of miscarriages happen within the first trimester, and believing that every life is precious no matter how young, we decided to share our joyful news as soon as we could," Jill said in an interview with The New York Post's Page Six after going public about the anticipated addition in their family.

"We prayed a lot, prepared and really didn't see any reason to have a long courtship and engagement," Jill said regarding turn of events in their seemingly short timeline. "Once we knew we wanted to get married, we didn't want to put off the wedding for a long time and provide a stumbling block for ourselves. We purposed to save ourselves physically for each other within marriage...so we had a short engagement period. We knew that we weren't going to prevent having children, so when we found out we were expecting within our first month of marriage, we were thrilled!"

Will the couple prefer a smaller family? It seems that they soon-to-be parents are open to it.

"I have loved having lots of brothers and sisters and although Derick comes from a family with just one brother, both of us would love to have as many children as God will give us," Jill told Page Six. "We are also open to the possibility of adoption."

Baby Dillard is reportedly due in March.
