It's been more than a month since Colin Trevorrow's new movie has finished filming and we still haven't heard any news about the release date of the "Jurassic World' trailer. Based on our previous report, the official footage will be launched at the Super Bowl 2015. Some fans were disappointed when they heard that because they already wanted to get a sneak peek of the new "Jurassic Park" movie, which is slated to hit the theaters on June 12, 2015.
Just recently, the director posted a teaser photo on his Twitter account. The image showed the East Dock signage on the ground covered with dry leaves. Trevorrow captioned the photo, "Autumn" since we are enjoying the new season right now, but Cinema Blend has another theory why he posted that image.
The website speculated this may be the first Jurassic movie that will take place during a distinct season on the calendar. The writer also wrote that he wanted to see Jurassic Park during the winter season with white dinosaurs hiding in snow banks. That will be something new to the audience. We may even get a glimpse of that scene when the "Jurassic World" trailer comes out soon.
Now, let's talk about the Twitter photo which showed the fallen East Dock signage. In the first "Jurassic Park" film, there was a sign that was knocked over by computer programmer Dennis Nedry, who is played by Wayne Knight. He went to Isla Nublar to smuggle some dinosaur eggs, but his fate ended before he reached the East Docks when he was attacked by a dilophosaurus.
That was one of the most exciting scenes in "Jurassic Park" and the new sequel may revisit the place based on the teaser photo that Colin Trevorrow posted. Cinema Blend also reported that what he posted is an indication that the official "Jurassic World" trailer is close and it could even be attached to an IMAX print possibly of Christopher Nolan's "Interstellar", which will be released this November.
Since there isn't any footage yet, you can just watch Dennis Nerdy's exciting death scene in "Jurassic Park" below:
